Sean Horton is a art dealer, curator & sometimes-gallerist who works directly with artists, patrons, and press to organize exhibitions, produce special projects, and garner public support.
In addition to advising a core group of private collectors, he has facilitated the acquisition of numerous works by museums and corporate collections, including sourcing over 100 pieces for the international art collection of Soho House.
Horton has been a member of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) since 2008.
He regularly visits colleges and universities for student engagement and he has served on benefit committees for Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), New Museum, Sylvia Rivera Law Project (SRLP), and White Columns, among others.
After organizing exhibitions independently and for non-profits, Sean Horton opened an artist-run project space, Sunday LES, on Eldridge Street on the Lower East Side. Under several names he has since realized more than 250 exhibitions and projects in a variety of interesting spaces and contexts.
