Horton worked with The Estate of David Byrd to present David Byrd & Peter Gallo: The Patients and The Doctors, which led to Byrd's New York solo debut at White Columns (curated by Matthew Higgs).

In 2019 - 2020, Horton collaborated with curator and writer Joseph R. Wolin to present solo exhibitions by Leo Gabin and Lucia Hierro in Dallas.
